How do you spell love?

S-a-r-a a-n-d J-a-i-m-e.

Okay, that took way too long and totally wasn't worth it.

Ashley, Sara, Jaime and I take turns hosting impromptu dinner parties. These girls and I have been known to entertain ourselves in a vehicle, no music on, stopped at a red light, laughing in hysterics about the different size of radio dials. And yes, that is a real life example. Ash couldn't make it, but Sara and James came over to my place for some wild rice, mushroom and chicken soup with a wedge salad. I had the best of intentions of taking a few photos of dinner, but per usual I got 120% engulfed into conversation up until the minute they left. I love my girls.

Yes we polished off 3 bottles of wine, yes the picture is deceiving and only shows 1 wine glass, and yes thats my Chap-Stick in the middle of the dinner table. Anyone who knows me knows wherever Beth goes, her Chap-Stick goes.

I'd really love to sit and share some hi-larry-us and borderline offensive stories from the night, but I just saw an hour of WAG {Will and Grace} is on Lifetime and let's be honest, WAG trumps all.

Luck o' the Irish

You know what makes me happy? Eating out of all white dishes.

Maybe just glance at the picture instead of studying it. If you study it you may see crumbs from my eggs, toast and salad that occupied these dishes 07 minutes before that picture was taken. But then again you may not.

Also, I did it again. I hung out in Denver as the Giant Green Giant disguised as a 25 year old grill. I had just finished at the gym and was 10 minutes into my grocery stopping at Sunflower when I realized I had BRIGHT green running shorts on (Yes the bad 80's kind) my sage green with neon green accents running jacket, green handbag and of course I put my grocery list on my Notes in my phone with a lime green case. Seriously I was just waiting for someone to shout "ST. PATTY'S DAY WAS 2 WEEKS AGO STRETCH." To which I would have walked over and commented on their balding hair and/or bad dye job (Because of course giants can see the tops of everyones head) and told them to have a jolly good day.

Now if you'll excuse me I have some canning of my green beans to finish.

SolarDad.

Whenever I'm feeling especially homesick or missing my fam-dam, I drink out of this coffee mug for like a week straight. My dad is always tickled whenever I tell him I'm using it, because the bees have since been removed from the logo. Like I even needed to tell you that though!!! Of COURSE you are updated on the always evolving SolarBee logo.

Like mother, like daughter.

My mom has been eating this for breakfast since I was knee-high to a grasshopper (My Grandpa taught me that saying this past summer and I try to use it whenever I can. He also taught me one about a cat on a hot tin roof, but I haven't totally mastered that one yet). She has a very specific way of eating this and I used to tease her about it, but now it tooooootally makes sense.

Eat half of the piece of toast with butter, the entire jelly piece, then the rest of the butter piece. You don't want to end your breakfast with a sweet tummy! At least in the Summerfield house you don't.

I text her this photo and she text back saying we can make freezer strawberry jam when she comes to visit in May! That makes me a happy grill. (My little cousin Caitlyn had a hard time saying "girl" growing up, so she would say "grill" instead.) Wow look at all the family stories you guys got in one post! I'll quiz you tomorrow.

Love you, ma!
