Hap eee ness.

This week, happiness to me means...:

Waking up tomorrow and starting the WEEK countdown to my cousin's wedding! {This is more important to me than just a little blurb on this list, so more on it later.}

Creating memories with Hunt in the kitchen. One of my favorite places to spend with him.

Eating an orange with the stem still on it from my parents orange tree!

Opening my bathroom cabinet and seeing one of the notes my mom hides for me.

New fab recipes.

Beautiful dinner parties with favorite friends!

Dreaming big and business planning with Mary.

Tiny boxes on my doorstep filled with love and packed with surprises.

Kitty cuddles. Enough said.

Lemon water with one of my parents fresh lemons!

Early morning breakfast dates with my very favorite, yet vert tired nurse.

Michael's bag filled with fixings for the most perfect homemade gifts. : >

What made your week filled with happy?!

Beth'sFavoritesTube

It's not uncommon for YouTube videos to see my work inbox anywhere from 1 to 15 times per day.  I thought I'd take a minute and share some of my favorite ones I've seen lately!

{ 1 }

Sa-eriously, I love everything about this video.  Her hair.  Her nails.  Her emotional 3-7 scale {because sadly, I can relate.  Who else do you know that cries at Folgers commercials EVERY SINGLE TIME?!}  {I can't believe I just admitted that.}  This is probbbbably the 7th time I've watched this today!  Yet I laugh {and tear up} each and every time.

{ 2 }

Similar to #1, I could, and have watched this video appx 12 times.  When I showed it to Jon his EXACT words were" BETH.  Are you f@cking CRYING??!?!?!"  And my response was "YES JON.  I AM OKAY.  WHERE IS YOUR HEART?!"  I love it.  I dare you to watch it without being moved even in the slightest!  The bride's raw, honest and beautiful reaction is just so heartwarming to me.

{ 3 }

This was sent to me today from a dear friend, and not only do I la-ove the song, I simply adore her commentary at the end.  Please listen and wait for those final 10 seconds!

{ 4 }

I have no idea why, but I can laugh, and laugh.  And laugh.  And laughandlaughandlaughandlaugh at this video each and every time I watch it.  I have a secret girl crush on Grace, and video just reinforces that.  "Grace Grace with the Alien face.  She comes from outer space, I wanna spray her with mace."  I also love her nails.  I'm thinking I need a new manicure just with the common love for orange/coral nails so far in this post.  And I may or may not end every conversation now with byeeeeeeeee!

{ 5 }

This dog is bad a.  The end.

{ 6 }

And this one is for you.  You know who you are.  "Oh Don Paino."  I can't wait for you to read this at work and come over to my desk Little Old Lady'ingggggg!

I'm that {annoying} girl.

I woke up Sunday morning with this song in my head, and immediately need to dance.

I poped out of bed, turned it on from my computer and was literally singing and dancing around the kitchen making Hunter a cappuccino while he was still wiping the sleepy out of his eyes.  Mind you, we were up until 4am Saturday night, so how I had that much energy is beyond me.  I think we listened to it for 3 times before I started changing the words and creating my own "Hunter and Beth" version at 3:13 when he made me turn it off.

I don't blame him.

Secretly my favorite version is:

To which I was reminded of:

Please don't ask.

Dude.

So a few months ago...I'm thinking November? Hunter and I took a trip to Snowy, which is the ski resort in southern Wyoming that his parents own {briefly talked about here}. We had THE best weekend skiing, laughing with his parents over wine, watching football, hanging out with some of his friends from elementary school....the list could go on. I was SO proud of myself all weekend long, because with the exception of about 10 minutes, I left my phone in the room the entire time. For those 10 minutes that I had it, I took a few pix outside and some of Hunter's insanely perfectly adorable nephew Charlie. See, Charlie is not just the cutest little boy ever, but he has this wave..and he waves at EVERYTHING that is machine related. Vacuums, brooms, snow removers, and in this particular occasion, this gigantic like mop/sweeping/boom thing. WELL. My iPhone didn't like Snowy as much as Snowy liked my iPhone, because on the drive back to Denver, I noticed that my phone kept dating back to like 1990 and saying it was 10p. Then, the unthinkable happened and I noticed that ALL THE PHOTOS I TOOK WENT MISSING. Ask Hunter, I went from 100 to -50 because I took THE cutest photos of Charlie and Hunter and I seriously couldn't believe they were just gone. GONE. Vanished. Seriously you guys, I was beyond embarrassed at my reaction to these pictures being gone. I probably didn't talk for a solid hour, and after that hour, I only spoke because we went to watch the Broncos game, and what's a Broncos game with out Beth hooting and hollering?

Anyway.

I went just now to download an app to my phone when my phone tells me I need to delete photos before I can download any more applications. So I think "Heck, I'll start at the top of my photos instead of the most recent ones."

AND GUESS WHAT. GUESS. JUST. GUESS.

THE PICTURES WERE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I immediately started texting them to Hunt, who happened to call me at that exact time, but hadn't seen the pictures yet. I answered the phone and SCREAMED "BABE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to which he replied "Whoaaa - babe?" After he saw the texts, he was almost as equally excited as I was The first thing he said was "Well, now you don't have to kill yourself over those lost photos."

Enough small talk. More picture talk.

I opened a door in the kitchen and took this photo + the following two!

Ski-in at it's finest.

Purty.

Part of the lodge!

Don't get me started on this stoobies.

Seriously, don't.

I said don't!

Wave!!!!

Okay so to you guys, these pictures might not be too much to write home about, but I can't express how insanely happy they make me. I already set one to Hunter's caller ID pix and the last time he called I was literally squealing when I answered at the sheer cuteness.

The end.

Life.

{ source }
The interesting thing I've learned about life is how just when you think you have it figured out,  juuuuust when you can finally see your ducks getting in their nice little row, life itself sneaks up on you and never fails to knock the wind straight out from underneath you.  Isn't it funny how one word - one simple 6 letter word can change everything?  The way you look at your boyfriend sleeping, walks with your best friend + dogs, the woman helping you at the pharmacy with the biggest, most contagious smile on her face.  It's a constant reminder to just embrace ever single second that we have.  Every single dinner spent with friends and families...every single giggle session at the water cooler at work with your besties.  Every single text message, phone call, email and hug from people you love.  Embrace every touch, smell, memory and grain of their existence, because we never know when that nasty 6 letter world will present itself and change lives forever.

I've been talking to this sweet soul a lot lately - hopefully she has some pull from above and can help a girl out.  ; )  Love you, Morgan Dawn!

Know what's really enjoyable for me?

Having my {Chech} boss come and sit at my desk looking super serious and asks:
"So.  You know when people say 'your neck of the woods', what the f*ck does that actually mean?!  Neck of the woods???  WHY is it neck?  Not nose?!?!"

Then having your coworker kick in and say:
"It's kind of like when people talk about different legs of flights when flying."

That right there nearly blew Alex's mind.  After he challenged Matt that he made up the leg of flight thing, he walked away shaking his head.  I was going to rebring up chicken fried chicken and refried beans, but I thought that'd send him straight over the edge.
"Why do they have to fry the beans twice?!?!?!!!!  Can't I just have fried beans?  Or better yet - just beans?"

It is so fun messing with a man who has lived in the states for years now, yet still doesn't get our slang.
