Suck sucky sucking.

I know I've been really bad at keeping up with posts lately! Time has either been spent outside, with dear friends, or simply unwinding. So until something ground breaking happens that will really blow your minds, enjoy some of my latest Instagram pix!

That's my life in a nutshell. Nail polish, crocheting, Hunter, tea, coffee and lotts'a time spent outside. Cheers!

March Photo a Day :: 15 – 22

Yeah yeah, I didn’t post this on Tuesday like I usually have been. But hey – when you finally get your boyfriend who works nights all to yourself for a week straight, you wouldn’t be blogging either! Well – maybe you would, I guess I’m not sure. Who am I to judge.

ANYhoodle – without further adieu, 15 – 22!

{ day fifteen } Car.

I used to do the monthly calendars from Go Scout Creative, and this one, bar none, was my favorite!

{ day sixteen } Sunglasses.

This pix makes me giggle. It’s what any level headed 20’something does while driving. Take a pix to send to your aunt of the earrings she gave you a year+ ago. The sunglasses got in there by accident, though it worked out!

{ day seventeen } Green.

What I SHOULD have pictured here is Charlie, who was decked out in head to toe in the cutest matching green outfit for St. Patt’ys Day (matching socks and all), but I was too busy loving on him and playing Lego’s to have taken a pix. So instead you get the green in a text conversation for my friend Angela’s birthday!

{ day eighteen } A Corner Of Your Home.

Kind of speaks for itself. Welcome to my humble corner of my home.

{ day nineteen } Funny.

I came home to this sweet package from my grandma in ND! I had forgotten something at her house while back for Becky’s wedding, so she mailed it back to me + some Easter goodies. Her little old lady witty and sassy cards never fail to make me laugh.

{ day twenty } Before / After.

What gets me through my day! Mix of Green Tea and Peppermint Tea. I bet I down 4-6 cups of this goodness throughout the day.

{ day twenty-one } Delicious.

How I lived to be 26 and never fully appreciated how delightfully delicious honey is, is beyond me, I’m just glad the obsession has finally struck. I keep this at my desk for when I get a sweet craving – a spoonfull of this is far better than a spoonful of jelly beans!

{ day twenty-two } Kitchen Sink.

Borrrrrrrrrrrring.

I'm itching for the weekend and temps in the 70's! Tick tock week, will'ya?!

What did you do last night?

Anything fun? What did I do, you say? How sweet of you to ask!

I went on an awesome run with my boyfriend in my new awesome shoes from said awesome boyfriend

Then we went and wandered the aisles of Whole Foods (one of my favorite past times with him) and got some fixings for dinner! Edamame with salt and cayenne pepper to snack on, grilled salmon and asparagus spears with spinach and mushroom risotto! Oh. And wine. (duh)

THEN. We lounged on the couch for a while. Him watching Airplane! and playing WWF, me ignoring Airplane!, playing WWF and Draw Something, then eventually retiring to his room to play checkers.

His mom found this awesome checkers table at a thrift store in MT, and we (read: I) have been dying to use it! Then of course looking up the rules of jumping in checkers

All while I was perfectly relaxed with tunes in the background, cuddled up in some quilts his mom has made.

I fell asleep shortly after our 2nd game while getting a hand massage (he's the best), and when he woke me up to actually go to bed, he was telling me to "turn around", and I thought he was saying "put your arms down". It was a very confusing 45 seconds for me, but thankfully we made it though.

Tonight you ask? Brewing beer! I love when he has a full week off from work. I've been so spoiled with nightly dates and extra long cuddle sessions lately. #swoon.

Heavily happy heart.

It is absolutely impossible for me to put in words the memories, feelings, thoughts and emotions I've had in the past 84 hours. I need to set aside a few hours to type it all out, because though painful, I really want to write this experience all out in words as to not forget anything, no matter how devastating they may be. I understand how utterly vague that statement is, but just bear with me. However, my support system, per usual, is on fire. It's the hour long impromptu 10am coffee date on a Monday morning where when words couldn't find their way, tears sufficed and somehow told the story the way it needed to be told. { which, by the way, there is something so painfully beautiful about sitting at a table with someone who means more to you than you will ever be able to express to them, looking each other square in the eye, and simply crying that is so unbearably healing. It is a moment that is so real, raw, vulnerable yet 100% honest. } It's the constant flow of IM's and text messages which really is more like a hug and just knowing the love that is put into those words. It's the silence between two people that says more than any words of encouragement ever could.

Right now:
I am loving watching the clouds pass through in the sky. Knowing another day has come, and is going before our very eyes.
I am itchy to get out of work, throw on my running clothes and new shoes Hunter surprised me with {ekk!!}, going for a run with him, then perusing the isles of Whole Foods for our dinner tonight, BBQ'ing out in the backyard, dreaming up the garden for the summer, playing checkers, creating moments and simply being.
I am dreading going through my work email because there are always, always, always too many emails.
I am pounding water to get rid of this headache.
Above all, I am so happy to have the ability to do all of the things above.

Please do me a favor. Please call your mom today just because you can. Call her and laugh with her, or cry with her. Retell stories from the past. Share secrets. Make a list of what you are most excited for in the future. Tell her you love her. If you are mad at her, forgive her. If you are annoyed with her, ignore it. At the end of the day, are those things really worth holding on to when our time here is so short and so precious?! I didn't think so either.

I know this post is all over the place, so my apologies. It's just what is on my mind and heart today.

What is on YOUR mind or heart today?!

And last but not least, a pix, and people, that make my heart uncontrollably and unquestionably happy.

Beth happy.

This is what I look like while enjoying 60 extra minutes of sun at night:

Actually thats what I look like while trying to pursued Hunter to call in sick to work and go on a run with me.

Same diff.

I'm having a total love affair with this week.

I even stepped out on my wrap around patio
fire escape
this morning to get the sunrise.

March 20th aka the first day of Spring can't come fast enough!

March Photo a Day :: 8-14

Let's do this.

{ day eight } Window.

This is one of my most favorite pieces in my apartment. I stumbled upon it about 2 years ago when I was headed to the grocery store at my old apartment. I see this guy hauling "trash" into the back of his truck, and when I saw this in his hand, I (without even looking) pulled over, walked across the street and asked him if he was throwing it away. He had this guilty/excited look on his face and said it was original to the house and had been saving it for 7+ years but never found anything to do with it. He gave it to me on the condition that I'd put it to use - and that I have! It's the first thing you see upon walking into my apartment, at the top of the first flight of stairs in my unit. I use it for hello's to company, love notes to Hunter, or just doodles that make me smile. This week they are flowers to represent what is blooming all around us!

{ day nine } Red.

The fun and random red cork in part of my cork collections on display in my kitchen!

{ day ten } Loud.

I la-la-love my garlic kitchen timer, but holy moly is it l.o.u.d. I guess that is the point, eh?

{ day eleven }  Someone You Talked To Today.

All these fancy people at our first BBQ of the season! So fun, so yummy and so perfect.

{ day twelve } Fork(s).

It's no wonder he's crosseyed.

{ day thirteen } A Sign.

I found this on my run tonight and not only saw it as a sign on the side of the road, but a sign as a daily reminder/challenge.  I dare you to accept the challenge, too.  : >

{ day fourteen } Clouds.

One of my favorites from when Hunter and I went flying! My heart started racing when I was even paging through the pix to find this one. Love it.

Holla.  Can't wait for next week!
